Amidst Blossoms at "Blue House"
This week spring really burst into bloom, and we've been all delighting ourselves in garden hyacinth, tulips, and flowering trees. Nana invited us over to her bloss'ming backyard for a couple of very fine picnics- Tuesday evening after a long day of work, and again for a special pre-mother's day Sabbath dinner. It's wonderful to bask in real shade from tall trees and the privacy of a yard fenced in and with full grown greens and established homey comfort. Alexander can run and play without venturing too far a-field, and Nana's begun the summer spoiling with toys, his very own lawn chair, a little trike, and most of all- a very favorite SANDBOX! Oh what happy hours he will spend here this summer, we'll have to pry him away to come home.
A little boy is added
to the blossoming tree;
another love and blessing;
a treasured memory.
The sand in the shoes
and the damp little jeans;
he's a climbing wonder
with a face that just beams.
With love from a joyful Nana
