{"id":1823,"date":"2012-07-22T20:15:26","date_gmt":"2012-07-23T00:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/?p=1823"},"modified":"2012-07-25T09:15:13","modified_gmt":"2012-07-25T13:15:13","slug":"seven-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/2012\/07\/seven-months\/","title":{"rendered":"seven months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/7-20-2012-7months.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1825\" title=\"7-20-2012 7months\" src=\"http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/7-20-2012-7months-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"699\" height=\"524\" srcset=\"http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/7-20-2012-7months-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/7-20-2012-7months-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/7-20-2012-7months-150x112.jpg 150w, http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/7-20-2012-7months-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 699px) 100vw, 699px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our little Lucas has been such a beautiful gift all wrapped up in this priceless package.\u00a0 It&#8217;s so wonderful to have a baby in our home again, and at this charming seven month milestone, he wins our hearts over to googley love every single day.\u00a0 He is simply the happiest baby ever, loves to cuddle, &#8216;kiss&#8217;, hug and snuggle, but is also simply content to watch his brothers play nearby with his own little toys or sharing one (albeit a safe one) of theirs.\u00a0 Oh he loves his brothers!\u00a0 He shows his excitement and love for his family by flapping his arms giddily when each of them wakes up in the morning and greets him for the first time each day.\u00a0 He &#8216;sings&#8217; along with them in the car by adding his little coos and &#8216;aaaahhhh&#8217;s.&#8217;\u00a0 He comforts for them when they help him wait patiently for muma by chatting, playing, or offering a binky.\u00a0 And he can&#8217;t wait to size up to them, growing as fast as he can and making muma switch out the closet clothes as fast as she can switch them in.\u00a0 Oh Lukie!\u00a0 You&#8217;re so amazing, and so loved, and so in tradition, we note a few of your delights and charms on your seventh month milestone:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You&#8217;re almost to crawling!!!\u00a0 Any minute, you&#8217;ll make that move forward&#8230; instead of backward&#8230; and <em>all <\/em>your frustrations will disappear into a big smile ! \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Last week you figured out how to sit from pretty much any position.<\/li>\n<li>Your new words are &#8220;Babababababa&#8221;, and sometimes even &#8220;PaPa&#8221; Do you know that your father&#8217;s heart lights up each time he hears you (whether you mean it or not&#8230;)?<\/li>\n<li>Your Muma and Papa haven&#8217;t been so strict, and you were fed &amp; coddled on demand on this last camping trip, so you think you&#8217;re back to your 3am feeding&#8230; But you&#8217;ll quickly catch back up to your one-bink-a-night &#8220;sleep-through.&#8221;\u00a0 Though *sigh* we&#8217;re still waiting for that surprise night we don&#8217;t hear you at all&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>You laugh and smile at every variation of peek-a-boo, from the classic, to the French &#8220;coucou!&#8221;, to the sneeze variation &#8216;aaahhhh&#8230;choo!&#8217;\u00a0 You&#8217;re a peek-a-boo expert!<\/li>\n<li>You love &#8216;slap slap&#8217; on Muma&#8217;s hand and are learning clap-clap on your own.<\/li>\n<li>you. love. food.\u00a0 anyone else&#8217;s food that is.\u00a0 Your babyfood?\u00a0 You can take it or leave it.\u00a0 With the exception of your morning cereal with fruit that you snarf down as if you hadn&#8217;t eaten in the middle of the night.\u00a0 But you also like your new little sucky that Muma wouldn&#8217;t invest in for the other brothers because it was too messy.\u00a0 But now, we can fill it with veggies and fruits&#8211; grown up versions for you to feed yourself during meal time so that Muma can actually get to eat something too.<\/li>\n<li>You are so super observant, noticing, staring and reaching towards all sorts of little changes here and there, and couldn&#8217;t keep your eyes off of Papa&#8217;s haircut.<\/li>\n<li>You definitely have opinions and can express your likes and dislikes.\u00a0 And your love\/hate relationship with your binky hasn&#8217;t changed too much.\u00a0 Ooooh, you get <em>so<\/em> mad when someone tries to give it to you when that&#8217;s not what you had in mind!<\/li>\n<li>You have joined Aidan in his ranks of morning <a title=\"define: cuddletime\" href=\"http:\/\/winklerworldonline.com\/sda2\/index.php\/2010\/02\/07\/define-cuddletime\/\">cuddletime<\/a> expert, though we haven&#8217;t busted out with the playpen yet, so you must not be quite as bad.\u00a0 Though also because we haven&#8217;t brought out the playpen, you wouldn&#8217;t have anything to do with it while camping, and you had to snuggle with Muma all night.\u00a0 Yah, we should probably work on that before we camp again in August&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Your favorite toy is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blueberryforest.com\/wooden_cars_trucks\/selecta_autopino_wooden_car_mouse.htm\">the little car<\/a>, specifically the little <em>guy<\/em> in the car that Grammy and Grampapa brought for you from Germany.\u00a0 They must have yum-my paint over there!<\/li>\n<li>We can see that you understand a few words: more, up, and your favorite&#8230; &#8220;Do you want to nurse?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>You love the water, bath, swimming, splashpad.\u00a0 And everyone  comments on your &#8216;sunburn&#8217;.\u00a0 No, that&#8217;s just your tan&#8230; pinky&#8230; just  like your papa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Oh Lukie, we love walking through these treasured firsts with you.\u00a0 Thank you, Lord for this precious baby boy.\u00a0 How have we been so blessed with <em>three<\/em> amazing little winklets?
