This week spring really burst into bloom, and we’ve been all delighting ourselves in garden hyacinth, tulips, and flowering trees. Nana invited us over to her bloss’ming backyard for a couple of very fine picnics- Tuesday evening after a long day of work, and again for a special pre-mother’s day Sabbath dinner. It’s wonderful to bask in real shade from tall trees and the privacy of a yard fenced in and with full grown greens and established homey comfort. Alexander can run and play without venturing too far a-field, and Nana’s begun the summer spoiling with toys, his very own lawn chair, a little trike, and most of all- a very favorite SANDBOX! Oh what happy hours he will spend here this summer, we’ll have to pry him away to come home.

What cute, endearing pictures, as usual I copy them off to show off my grandson’s latest to the ladies at work and folks at church. Alexander you are one cute, adorable little boy. . . keep growing in the love and grace of our lord. LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH

A little boy is added
to the blossoming tree;
another love and blessing;
a treasured memory.
The sand in the shoes
and the damp little jeans;
he’s a climbing wonder
with a face that just beams.
With love from a joyful Nana
