Wow! Aidan’s really taking off with his little words and sounds. It seems like every time we turn around he’s got something new to say. This morning at 6:15 he was adamant about getting out of our room (where he’s quarantined from sleeping brother until 6:30 while m&p try to get last minute snoozies) and kept trundling over to the door saying “go!” “go!” as in go downstairs. He’s also got hi, bye, bubbles, Tatou, Aaaa (for alex), muma and papa of course, up, down, close/d, a form of ‘done,’ car, digger, apple, cracker, nana ( for both banana and Nana- though we haven’t heard that one in a while), spoon, a word for bottle/cup, ‘beep’, ‘bow-wow’, kitty, uh-oh (one of his first), boom, out, and some great fussy noises to get any other point across. He babbles in the car, in his crib, and even babbles some favorite books with muma’s voice intonations. We’re so enjoying the summer- a second summer of so many firsts- and watching this little one fall in love with life. Keep up the good words, little one. You’ll be joining the conversation before you know it :)!

Love the top picture at the Sleeping Bear Dunes.
He is so delightful in his little self possessed busy way absorbed in one thing or another – cars, trucks, opening & closing whatever, pushing buttons, and adding little verbal quips along the way. Like the previous car beep video, he’ll frequently look at you to be sure you caught what he was saying. I love his wide-eyed innocent look. It’s so awesome watching these two treasures grow and learn in such a loving family. Praise God!
Love in big bunches! Nana
We TOTALLY agree. . .it is so precious listening to him talking and making the sounds of the car, lawnmower, vaccumm, and of course ‘trucks’ He is such a ‘happy’ child with quick smile, layed back easy – go – life pleasantness. Such a blessing he has added to our lives . . .love to all grammy gpapa
