Well, after a few delays, we’ve finally followed through on our promise to get rid of the binky ‘when you turn two.’  It was mostly Muma who’d done the hemming and hawing, mingled with a week of sick toddler (how could we take his binky when he was sick???!!!).  But Continue Reading

The past couple of weeks we’ve embarked upon prepping the house for two little boys. We decided to have both boys share the nursery and keep our guest bedroom- at least until they’re a little older. We moved the new crib in there and the rocking chair out into the Continue Reading

Today Jaron completed the mural with a final coat of gloss to keep things fresh and waterproof. The finishing touches took a little extra time and detail, but it’s turned out beautifully, and we’re really pleased. We thought of pulling out the tent and sleeping bag to camp under the Continue Reading

Green waves of grass have begun growing on our little hill. We’ve even got some dandylion fields and rays of sun peeking out from behind the cloud. You can see the sun shining down and casting highlights on the bright side of the hill, the other side will be in Continue Reading

We’ve Got ‘Heavenly Clouds’

Jaron began the painting after a great deal of supertaping and now we have clouds in the sky! He calls them ‘heavenly clouds’ as opposed to ‘Hansel and Gretel’ clouds. I much prefer heavenly :). You can see the outline of the hill and where the tree will eventually go Continue Reading

Today we met with JaRon Johnson, a friend of our neighbor who is going to be painting the nursery for us! David and I are both very excited. It’s a major step in making baby’s nursery a bit more homey. Last weekend over Christmas, Brian and David moved the other Continue Reading
