This is the way we bowl, we bowl…

After quite a bit of talking about it, we encountered a pretty neat groupon and finally took the kiddos bowling with our Mills buddies.   We had one lane for the grown-ups and one with bumpers for the kids.  It was quite the little adventure, and the boys did great!  Alex stuck with it pretty much the whole time (except for a snack break in the middle) and they were all remarkably patient with the sometimes 30 second lag time for the ball to get down the alley :).  Aidan and Jonathan generally pushed the ball with some help from grown ups so that it actually made it down to the pins.  And we only got in trouble once for Aidan walking down the slippery lane.  Jonathan was the die-hard kiddy-bowler, picking up the slack when the other tykes tired out  AND winning their game.  Sammie and BigDavid duked it out for the grown up title while Serena snuck up right at the end, just enough to add a little pressure to the game :).  We rounded out the American evening with good eats at Red Robin… yummmm…!  Good times 🙂
