This season we have two gymnasts on gymnastics teams. Alex continues with his third year on the League Team, and Aidan joins the Ninja Stars for his first year of competitive gymnastics. Alex is competing level 4 and 5 routines, and Aidan’s pre-team routines are really coming together as well. Continue Reading
(maybe) the best thing about our new house…
… is the sledding on our hill in the backyard. Oh the fun! We’ve lined it with twinkle lights for the night runs, and enjoy friends and maybe a little warmer fun in the day. David took the boys for the first run at the earliest snow in the month Continue Reading
31 New Delights
Years ago, we posted about the wonderful days of December, and thought that in our new place, and with a third little guy, it was time for another round. So we’ve created a page with new (and some old favorite) memories for this special time of year. Click here or Continue Reading
Aidan’s Merry Violin Season
As a part of his seventh birthday, Aidan began violin lessons last April. He’d been wanting to learn the violin for several years. Since we knew a couple friends who took lessons, we had a recommendation of a great Suzuki teacher, and he’s been doing group and private lessons each Continue Reading

It has been a whirlwind month as New Beginnings along with 200 other locations in Michigan and across the Lake Union embarked on a special series of meetings entitled Unlock Revelation. David spoke for a similar series in 2014 that took place at a dozen locations around metropolitan Detroit, but Continue Reading

We had a lovely Easter Sunday again this year, and celebrated the end of our Passion Week studies with our traditional brunch at Nana’s. Oma, (Grandpapa’s mother) doesn’t always get to join us at our family events, but it seems that Easter is one that she makes a special point Continue Reading
